System board removal

CAUTION
The lithium battery in this product is not intended to be replaced. There is a danger of
explosion if a lithium battery is incorrectly replaced. Do not recharge, disassemble, or
incinerate a lithium battery. Discard used lithium batteries according to manufacturer's
instructions and local regulations.
Warning: Do not interchange screws during reinstallation, as it may damage the machine. Always take note of
their original placement.
1.
Remove the power supply. See
2.
Remove the duplex unit. See
3.
Remove the rear cover. See
4.
Remove the right cover. See
5.
Remove the five M3x6 pan washer head screws (A) securing the metal shield to the system board.
6.
Remove the metal shield.
Installation note: When replacing the metal shield, be sure to insert it as shown below.
