Auto Reboot
This setting allows the user to enable or disable auto reboot for the printer.
To change this setting:
1.
From Manufacturing Test, navigate to Auto Reboot.
2.
Select ON or OFF.
3.
Touch
any changes.
Media Test
When this is selected, the media sensor is read for the current paper type.
To perform this procedure:
1.
From Manufacturing Test, navigate to Media Test.
2.
A message appears reporting the paper type that is detected by the media sensor. If no paper is present,
NONE appears on the display.

ADF 3 Page Test
This test continuously feeds three pages of paper that are present in the ADF tray.
To perform this test:
1.
Load paper into the ADF.
2.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to ADF 3 Page Test.
3.
The paper are fed through the ADF.

When all pages have been fed, follow the instructions on the display.
Scanner Life Test
This test runs full A4 length scans through the following resolutions: 150, 300 dpi, and then repeats indefinitely.
No data is sent over USB and the test is only used in standalone to verify the mechanical system.
To perform this test:
1.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to Scanner Life Test.
2.
The display shows the current scan mode and the cycle count during the test.

Timed Scanner Life Test
This scan test runs for approximately four minutes. The test runs full A4 length scans through the following
resolutions: 75, 150, 300, 600 dpi, and then repeats for four minutes. After four minutes, the test stops
automatically, returns the scan bar to home, and returns the display to the Manufacturing Test menu. No data is
sent over the USB and the test is only used in standalone to verify the mechanical system.
To perform this test:
1.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to Timed Scanner Life Test.
2.
The display shows the current scan mode and the frequency during the test.
