Turn off the printer by unplugging the power cord. Wait for
10 seconds, and turn on the printer.

Check if the J1 and J57 cables on the card reader board
are properly connected.

J42 connector on the card reader board.

Ink low service check
Step
1
Turn off the printer by unplugging the power cord. Wait
for 10 seconds, and turn on the printer.

Verify if there is enough ink in the cartridges.
Is there enough ink in the cartridges?

Check the BPD if there is ink in the chambers. Check
the BPD for any damage, holes, and punctures.
Is the BPD free from any damage and is in ink
present in the chambers?

Check the J68 cable for damage and proper
connection. Reseat the J68 cable.
Is the J68 cable free from any damage?
5
Bring the printer up in Manufacturing mode. Choose
Manufacturing Test > Initial prime sequence.
Does the initial prime run correctly?
