Technical Support Center:
Add paper on the paper tray until the stack is full.
Check the paper specifications that are supported
by the printer. See
"Media handling" on
page
1-19. Turn off the printer by unplugging the
power cord. Wait 10 seconds, then turn on the
printer. If the problem remains, then replace the
printer.

Check if the ADF cover can be closed properly.
Close the ADF cover, and POR the machine. If the
problem remains, then replace the printer.

Check for any damage on the duplex. If there are
any damage that would result to the duplex unit not
to be inserted properly, then replace the duplex
unit. If there are no damage, then reinsert the
duplex unit; and turn off the printer by unplugging
the power cord. Wait for 10 seconds, then turn on
the printer. If the problem remains, then replace the
printer.
Service:
Check for any damage on the duplex unit and on its
contacts. Be sure that it can be closed properly and
that there are no obstructions. Go to

Add paper in the input tray. Be sure that the
inserted paper is supported by the printer. Turn off
the printer by unplugging the power cord. Wait for
10 seconds, then turn on the printer. If the problem
remains, then replace the printer.
