Flatbed scanner cooling fan removal

Remove the scanner platen glass cover. See

Disconnect the cable from the scanner interface card.
3.
Remove two screws (B), and remove the fan.

Remove the scanner platen glass cover. See

Loosen the screw (A) in the tensioner.
3.
Pull the tensioner all the way to the right to put slack in the belt, and then retighten the screw.
4.
Slide the belt off the tensioner.
