Open the standard media tray, and remove the screw (C) from the front of the printer.

Close the left access door, and use a flat-blade screwdriver to pop out the front of the lower left cover.

Use a flat-blade screwdriver to free the latches in the middle of the cover. XXXX SRLcover9

Open the left access door, and disconnect the rear piston by pulling apart the clamps (F) from the tabs.
10.
Slide the left cover over the piston arm to remove the left cover and lower left cover together.
Note: If you are removing the left cover to access another part, then leave the left cover attached to the lower
left cover. If you need to replace the left cover FRU or the lower left cover FRU, then continue with the next step
to separate them.
