7.1.20 REMOVING THE IGNITION SWITCH/

STEERING LOCK

Carefully read 0.5.1 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL
INFORMATIONS).
N
Position the vehicle on the stand.
N
Turn the steering all the way over to the left.
N
Turn the ignition switch to position "1".
N
Release the wiring from the fastening clamp (1).
NOTE
Prepare a clamp to be used for the reassembly.

Disconnect the electric connector (2).
N
Unscrew and remove the screw (3).
N
Use a chisel to cut into the head of the special screw (4)
and turn it until it loosens.
N
Unscrew the screw (4) by hand and remove it.
NOTE
When reassembling, use another screw of the
same type, tightening it until the head comes off.
N
Remove the ignition switch/steering lock (5), withdraw-
ing it from below and retrieve the cable guide arch (6).

7.1.21 REMOVING THE HORN

Carefully read 0.5.1 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL
INFORMATIONS).

Rotate the handlebar completely leftwards.
N
Disconnect the two electric terminals (7) of the horn.
N
Unscrew and remove the nut (8).
N
Remove the horn (9).
