This mechanism consists of the document cover [A], the scanner unit [B] (scanner
cover), and the automatic document feeder (ADF) [C].
The scanner unit consists of a scanner top cover, CIS unit [D], CIS drive assembly
[E], and scanner base [F].
The detailed illustration in section 6.1.1 shows the components of the ADF and
scanner.
