CAUSE
The indicated color toner is
nearly empty.
The machine has a
mechanical problem.
The waste toner bottle is full.
Paper type mismatch
between the machine and
the printer driver setting.
Toner is getting low.
The machine's memory is
full.

ERROR INDICATION
ACTION
Order a new toner cartridge now.
Turn off the machine's power switch
and then on again. If the error
message continues leave the
machine for several minutes and then
try it again.
(The machine can be turned off for up
to 60 hours without losing faxes
stored in the memory. If the machine
will be off longer than 60 hours, you
can save the faxes in your PC.
Replace the waste toner bottle.
Put the correct paper type in Tray #1
(or Tray #2 if you have the optional
lower tray) and set it using the
machine's control panel ("Menu/Set",
"1", "2").
Paper type = Plain paper,
Transparencies,
Thick paper,
Thicker paper,
Thin paper,
Recycled paper
Check that the toner cartridges are
not low and try again.
(Fax sending or copy operation in
progress) Press Black Start or Color
Start to send or copy the scanned
pages.

Press Stop/Exit and wait until the
other operations in progress have
finished and then try again.
-OR-
Clear the faxes from the memory.
(Printing operation in progress)
Reduce print resolution. (See
Advanced tad in the Software User's
Guide on the CDROM.)

Add more memory.
