CAUSE
The machine is set to
distinctive ring mode. You
cannot change the receive
mode from manual to
another mode.
The waste toner bottle is
nearly full.
The fusing unit was not
detected.
The OPC belt cartridge is not
installed.
The machine is out of paper
or paper is not properly
loaded in the indicated paper
tray.
The number you dialed does
not answer or is busy.
The toner cartridge is not
installed properly.
The transfer roller is not
installed.
You tried to access a one-
touch or speed dial number
that is not programmed.
Remove the jammed paper.
See the alphanumerical
diagram to check on the
location.
The wrong media type is set
in the paper tray.
It is time to replace the 120K
kit.
It is time to replace the fusing
unit.
It is time to replace the OPC
belt cartridge.
It is time to replace the PF
kit2.
The wrong size of paper is
set in the printer driver for
tray2.
The output tray is full of
paper.
The toner is used up and
printing is not possible.
The machine has detected
an incompatible toner
cartridge.

ACTION
Set distinctive ring to off.
Replace the waste toner bpttle.
Please install one.
Install the OPC belt cartridge.
Check that the charging roller (on the
bottom of the OPC belt cartridge) is
locked in place and the levers are
closed.
Refill the paper in the paper tray, and
then press "Black Start" or "Color
Start".
- OR -
Remove the paper and load it again,
and then press "Black Start" or "Color
Start".
Verify the number and try again.
Reinstall the X toner cartridge.
Install the transfer roller.
Set up the one-touch or speed dial
number.
Remove the jammed paper.
Specify the correct media type in the
paper tray.
Call a customer service to replace the
120K kit.
Replace the fusing unit.
Replace the OPC belt cartridge.
Call a customer service to replace the
PF kit2.
In the printer driver, specify the
correct paper size for Tray2.
Remove the paper from the output
tray.
Replace the used toner cartridge with
a new one.
Use only RICOH genuine toner
cartridges.
