Notes:
♦ After installing the camshaft, do not start the
engine for about 30 minutes to allow the hy-
draulic valve clearance compensation ele-
ments to settle (otherwise valves will strike
the pistons).
♦ After carrying out work on the valve gear,
carefully crank engine at least 2 revolutions
to ensure that no valve strikes a piston when
the engine is started.
