♦ Torque wrench
♦ Body saw, e.g. V.A.G 1523
- Cut exhaust pipe at right angles with body
saw at the separation point.
- Mark 50 mm away from the separation point
on both sides (for both connecting pipes).
- Position double clamp at the side markings.
- Align rear silencer horizontally.
- Tighten bolts of double clamp evenly to 40
Nm.
- Installation position of double clamp: bolted
connection points to the left.
