• Remove the two screws (4) fixing the ABS unit to its
support.
• Remove the ABS unit.
• Assemble the new ABS unit on the support.
• Insert the two fixing screws of the ABS unit and tigh-
ten them to the prescribed torque.
ABS unit fixing screws (4) tightening torque:
8 ÷ 10 N·m
• Insert the connector to the ABS unit and rotate the
blocking lever.
• Place the ABS unit with its support on the motorcy-
cle.
• Insert the three fixing screws of the ABS unit support
and tighten them by hand.
• Insert the four screws (1) fixing the brake pipes
unions to the ABS unit and tighten them at the pre-
scribed torque.
Brake pipes unions screws tightening torque
(1): 18 N·m
• Execute the bleeding of the front and rear braking
system as described in chapter H - "Brakes".
