12.27 Configuring the VPN

To configure a VPN link between WS 2000s, the following must be specified:
• The subnets on each end of the VPN link (tunnel)
• The authentication method for allowing a connection
• The encryption method for the content passed across the link
Both WS 2000s must be set up with complimentary information on each other.
