Quality Monitoring FAQs
What protocol does Quality Monitoring use?
Nortel Quality Monitoring uses TCP for communication between the Server
and the Contact Recorder, the Server and the Client, and the Server and the
Agent. The Client and Agent do not communicate directly with each other
or the Contact Recorder.
Which protocols/firewall ports do the Quality Monitoring
components use?
The following table shows the ports used in the Quality Monitoring system.
Server Ports
The UDP database port starts at 1498(UDP) and
dynamically increments.
Userman.exe - Listens for Witness Client connection
requests.
Devman.exe - Listens for SIU and XIU connection
requests.
Agentdevts.exe or Agentdev.exe
Wadld.exe - User defined in the eQuality Balance
Server.ini.
SIU listens for CTI information from the NCR server
