If this is not the issue, check the following: If the MS-SQL Server is not
installed on the same machine as the Nortel Quality Monitoring Server,
make sure that you have removed the service's dependency on MSSQL.
Refer to "MSSQLSERVER Considerations," on page 55 for details.
The Agent isn't showing up in the Active Agent display as
logged in.
Refresh the Active Agent display. If the Agent still isn't showing up, be sure
that the agent definition is correct and that the agent is logged in. In
addition, be sure that the capture service is running on the agent machine.
The Client can't connect to the Server.
Be sure that the WitnessService is running properly and that the Client is
pointed to the correct server. When logging on to the Client, click the
Advanced tab to see which Site it is pointed to. Open the Sites application at
the Client (
review the Server name and DSN for the specified site. This definition must
match the System DSN definition in the Data Sources application on the
Control Panel (Administrative Tools).
Cannot connect to the database server.
Make sure that the database is correctly defined in the System DSN. In the
Windows Control Panel, under Administrative Tools, open Data Sources and
review the System DSN settings. The DSN named Quality should be set
with the server and username\password for the SQL server that houses the
Quality database.
Recording Problems
My call wasn't recorded.
Although there can be many reasons for this, the most common problem is
that the DN/Position ID is not properly defined at the Contact Recording
Server or in the SIU Utility of the Quality Monitoring Client.
