Problem
Unable to
monitor any
Thin Client
agents.

Troubleshooting
Is the Thin Client
Server
communicating
with the Witness
Server?
Resolutions
The Thin Client Server communicates with
the Witness Server through the Witness
Capture Service running on the Thin Client
Server.
Check to make sure the service is running.
Check the
'WitnessService_ClientConnection.log' and
the 'WitnessService_ServerUpdate.log' for
recent activity.
Note any errors within the logs. Attempt to
stop and restart the service. Re-test
monitoring.
If not successful, check the registry entry
'WitnessServerList'. The value of
'WitnessServerList' should be a comma-
separated list of the names of the Witness
servers.
Also, check the registry entry
'WitnessServerPort'. This entry should
contain the socket port number set in the
Agent DeviceTS section of the server.ini
file. This value should be the same for all
Witness servers.
