Are you using Host
mode or Agent ID
mode?
Resolutions
Host mode identifies Nortel Quality
Monitoring sessions by the Host name
assigned to the thin client device.
Agent ID mode identifies thin client
sessions by the Logon ID of the agent on the
Thin Client Server.
The Host name is entered into the Terminal
database through the Nortel Quality
Monitoring Client, and the Agent ID logon
name is entered into the Agent database.
The mode is designated by a registry key
entry under:
HKLM \ Software\WitnessSystems\
eQuality Agent\Capture\
CurrentVersion\UseAgentID.
A value of 0 = Host Mode,
A value > 0 = Agent ID Mode.
If Host mode is used, verify that the
Terminal Name in the Terminal database
matches the Host Name of the thin client
device. Verify that the Controller type in the
Terminal database is set to 'Win Term Svr'.
If Agent ID mode is used, verify that the
Agent Logon Name in the Agent database –
User Fields: Character # matches the user's
logon name. Character # is determined by
the WinTSAgent CharField setting in the
server.ini file.Verify that the Controller type
in the Terminal database is set to 'Win TS
Agent'.
If these values are correct, move to the next
question.
