Problem
Service does
not shutdown
properly.

Troubleshooting
Message:
"CserverUpdateThr
ead:: OpenSocket
Failed to open
socket to Witness
Server" found
within the
'WitnessService
_ServerUpdate.log'.
Resolutions
This indicates that the service attempted to
update the Witness Server. However, the
Witness Server didn't respond in time.
Increase the time delay value stored in the
registry entry
'ServiceDelayWitnessServerUpdate'.
Default value is 500 ms. Increase the
number of retries stored in the registry entry
'ServiceRetriesWitnessServerUpdate'.
Default is 5.
Increase the time delay value stored in the
registry entry 'ServiceDelayShutdown'.
Default value is 500 ms.
The service needs time to gracefully stop
secondary threads, close socket ports, and
delete allocated memory, etc. The service
reports a pending shutdown to the
ServiceControlManager and must exit
before an allotted amount of time expires.
Be careful to not increase this value too
much.
A proper shutdown can be detected by
reviewing the Event Viewer Service Stop
message, and the 'WitnessService
_ClientConnect.log'. Both of these should
indicate a successful stop.
