Configuring and Troubleshooting Bay Dial VPN Services
To configure the router, do the following:

Configuring the Adjacent Host and Static Routes
The next step is to create a single adjacent host entry and two (or more) static
route entries:

Select Site Manager > Tools > Configuration Manager.
On the Configuration manager window, click on the appropriate slot to
configure.
Click the COM port you select as the interface that connects to the frame
relay network.
Click OK on the Add Circuit window to accept the circuit name.
On the WAN Protocols window, select frame relay as the WAN protocol,
then click OK
On the Select Protocols window, click IP as the protocol to use on this
WAN interface.
On the IP Configuration window, enter the IP address of the interface
that connects t the frame relay cloud.
Enter an appropriate subnet mask in the Subnet mask field.
If appropriate, enter a transmit broadcast address or accept the default
value, then click OK.
On the main Configuration Manager window, click the COM port
connector button, select Edit Circuit, then select Interfaces.
On the frame relay Interface List window, make sure that the
Management Type parameter is set to ANSI T1 617D. When finished,
click Apply, then Done.
One static route points back to each dial-in user community, so that the CPE
router has a path through the frame relay cloud to forward replies back to the
end user nodes.
The second static route entry goes back to the Dial VPN gateway, so that the
RADIUS server on the CPE network can forward the authentication requests
back to the RADIUS client on the gateway.
