NIBP: NIBP Menu
This option lets you choose the initial pressure for the next cuff inflation. If
previous NIBP values are still "remembered" by the NIBP algorithm, these values
are used to determine the next pump-up target pressure. The NIPB algorithm will
remember target inflation pressure for only 16 minutes in Manual mode and 120
minutes in Auto mode. The NIBP determination results can be displayed for up to
120 minutes in Manual and Auto modes. For adult/pediatric patients, adjust the
pressure between 100 to 250 mmHg (in increments of 5). For neonate patients,
adjust between 100 to 140 mmHg (in increments of 5). An auto selection is also
available, which uses the target pressure defaults of the NIBP parameter. These
defaults are based on patient type and the parameter's algorithm for
determining blood pressure.
NOTE: Selecting a target pressure will clear old NIBP values in the vital signs
area.
This option lets you choose the priority of the limit alarms.
This option lets you choose priorities for No determination, Over-pressure,
Pump timeout, Total timeout, and Level timeout alarms.
