Using the Dash 2500 Patient Monitor: Popup window
The popup window provides information when a situation requires
acknowledgment by the user. In most cases, the popup window remains on the
screen until the Trim Knob is pushed. Menu options will not be accessible until
the messages within the popup window are acknowledged. In the example
below, the popup window appears if you go to standby using the go to standby
menu option. To close this popup window, choose yes or no.
The SelectBox is a rectangle that appears as the second item on every menu.
When it is inactive, the SelectBox is blank and the pointer in the menu skips over
it. When the SelectBox is active, however, a message blinks inside it and you can
choose it. The SelectBox can be activated as a result of a patient alarm, a system
problem, or an action you take (e.g., opening the Recorder/Printer door to
replace the paper roll).
