Action
Go to LD 117.
Create host entries with the IP address on the ELAN subnet by
entering one of the following commands:
NEW HOST PRIMARY_IP xx.xx.xx.xx
NEW HOST SECONDARY_IP xx.xx.xx.xx (for Large Systems only)
Assign the host entry IP address to active and inactive ELNK
interfaces on the ELAN subnet by entering one of the following
commands:
CHG ELNK ACTIVE PRIMARY_IP
CHG ELNK INACTIVE SECONDARY_IP (for Dual CPU only)
Verify the IP address for the Ethernet network interface by entering
the following command: PRT ELNK.
Enter the following command: Update DBS.
