To use Avaya Site Administration, launch the software and select the switch you want to
dial into. Refer to
on installing the software and build a record for a particular media server.

To open a Telnet session, click Start > Run to open the Run dialog box. Type telnet
IPaddress, where IPaddress is the address of the actual active media server.

Finding the active media server IP address

To get the IP address of the actual active media server, go to the task bar at the bottom
right of your PC screen.
Right-click on the Network Status icon, and select Status, then the Details tab.

Scroll down until you see the Server IP address. This is the IP address for the media
server you are connected to.l

Installing Avaya Site Administration

If you do not have Avaya Site Administration on your computer, make sure your PC or laptop
first meets the minimum requirements described in
Administration'' on page
