Sort Rule
Letters or labels can be sorted in any one of 3 ways. The sort sequence rule can either
be selected by entering one of the numbers 1, 7 or 8 in this field, or via a pop-up box.
The significance of the numbers 1, 7 and 8 is:
1
7
8
The required value can either be entered in the field or selected from a pop-up box. To
display the pop-up box, position the cursor on this field, and then press the key
combination normally used at your organisation. (This will usually mean pressing the
Ctrl, Shift and – keys together, but the key combination may vary depending on local
keyboard mappings.) To make a selection from the pop-up box, move the highlight to
it using the up and down arrow keys, then press Enter.
If you do not use the pop-up box, and enter something other than 1, 7 or 8 in this field,
a reject message will be given.
Head of Household Rule
The Head of Household rule allows you to specify a rule by which the number of
labels or letters is restricted to just those patients considered to be a "Head of
Household" (or identified by an "*" for patient address labels if Y or * is entered in
the Flag HoH Label? field).
By default, a value of 5 is displayed (No Head of Household). In other words, by
default, the Head of Household rule is not invoked.
Possible values that may be entered in this field are:
