Additional Registration Utilities
This utility allows you to output details of patients with Retained MRs for
a selected date range (RFH status date range).
Data will be written to a Unix file, and notification that the utility has
finished sent to the selected email address.
Unix download directory eg. '/download/' , or 'Q' to quit
- (default '/download/') :
Email address for notification , or 'Q' to quit
- (default 'johndoherty@nhs.net') :
Report on all Retained MRs (A) or only those Retained MRs to send out (S) ? A
Output a (S)ingle record per patient or (M)ultiple records (one for each MRE Box
Number) : M
Now enter Start and End RFH status date range for analysis.
Start Date (DD.MM.YY) : 01.01.2013
End Date (DD.MM.YY)

An email will be sent when it has finished.

Email Notification
When the job has finished processing you will receive an email with a subject line of
Retained Medical Records Analysis – type "X" from CC.MM.YY to cc.mm.yy
where:
• X is the type of run being undertaken (A for all retained medical records or S
for those medical records that need to be pulled from storage)
• CCYYMMDD is the start date you entered
• ccyymmdd is the end date.
The file will be ready for downloading from the directory you specified when you
requested the job. (See Download File Layout below for details on the UNIX
download file.)
The body of the email will look similar to the example below.
Results are in file
/download/TES_MRENQST_TypeS_From19600101To20101231_62105_33313.txt
- the first record in the file contains data column headings.
Total of 110 records in download file
... 90 need to be forwarded to a GP Practice
... 2 need to be forwarded to a GP Practice (MR status is 'APR')
... 14 need to be forwarded to another NHAIS Agency
... 4 Status errors
The email shows:
• The number of patient records included in the UNIX file created by the utility.
• The number of these which need to be pulled from storage and forwarded to a
GP practice where the patient's current MR status is not "APR".
• The number of these which need to be pulled from storage and forwarded to a
GP Practice where the patient's current MR status is "APR".
