AJ-PISI – Performance Indicator/Service Indicator
Report
Reports produced by AJ-PISI should provide you with information to plan future
needs and supply statistical information required by the Department of Health (DH).
Use the AJ-PISI screen to:
• Process performance data not yet accumulated and download the data to
UNIX.
• Delete previously accumulated data.
• Queue performance and/or service reports for preparation and printing.
The Performance Indicator report will enable HA management to get an overview
of staff performance and workload for a particular period of time.
The Service Indicator report will produce workload statistics which will satisfy some
of the service indicator figures that HAs are required to supply to the DH.
Processing
Data for these reports is logged by the workload statistics logging program onto a
summary file. For example, each time the Registration database is updated by a
member of staff with new data or amended data, the logging program will record that
a change has taken place. The summary file will store changes to the database in
blocks as 'accumulation years'; an accumulation year runs from 1 April to 31 March.
The analysis system processes workload statistics data stored on the summary file and
sorts details for the reports.
NOTE
When accumulation figures are processed, the system will create a print
entry on the analysis print queue PQ-AP (job PISI, name Accumulation).
The Accumulation Print is data collected by the system during
processing. Details are not intended to be read. To ensure that
Accumulation Prints do not build up on the print queue, delete or print
and discard the entry.
