AJ-RPSE – Random Patient Selection
The AJ-RPSE analysis job produces a controlled selection of patients, based on the
parameters entered. The output can be produced as a listing, as labels, or both. In addition,
data regarding the selected patients may be written out to a Unix file so that the it can be
used outside of the NHAIS.
The user ID, the date and time the analysis job was requested, and the total number of
patients found can also be sent to the default email address as specified on the UA screen,
or to another email address as required.
Only one entry will appear on screen AJ-Q, but one or two entries will appear on screen
PQ, depending on whether both listing and labels are selected.
The entries on the selection screen allow you to choose patients with certain address
code(s), DHA code(s) (see note below), GP code(s), national practice code(s), PCO
code(s) (see note below), dates of birth within a date range, sex and FP69 status.
Up to a maximum of 14 GP codes, national practice codes or PCO codes can be specified
as selection criteria.
NOTES
You cannot mix a selection of address codes and DHA codes, nor can you mix
a selection of GP codes, national practice codes and PCO codes.
The DHA code used to determine inclusion in the selection is that of the
patient's address and not the DHA(s) listed against the GP on the GD screen.
There is a facility to specify additional patient notes via a pop-up box from the Qualifier
field. These notes will be added to all patients selected in the run of AJ-LLSE. The notes
will then be able to be viewed and deleted from the PN or DN screens.
