Directions to Access the AJ-PDSA Screen
1. Enter a key of AJ with a qualifier of PDSA, and press Enter.
2. Complete any required fields on the screen. Bear in mind that you must
complete the fields for Request Type, Report Type (i.e. Technical
Performance, Patient or PCO/Practice) and Unix/Email.

Understanding the AJ-PDSA Screen
Request Type
This is a mandatory field. Use this field to enter the request type for the audit. A list of
valid request types can be displayed and selected from a pop-up box. Press Ctrl Shift
and L in this field to display the pop-up box. See Figure 2.
Date range of Requests to PDS
Use of these date fields is optional. Enter a range of From and To dates to refine the
audit criteria. Dates can be entered in the formats DD.MM.YY or DD/MM/YY.
Leaving these fields blank will use all available audit data.
Time range of Requests to PDS
Enter the From and To times in HH:MM format. These fields are optional.
NOTE
If you enter dates of '12.05.05' to '16.05.05' and times of '10:00' to '16:00'
– all the requests from 10am to 4pm on each of the five days will be
analysed, not all the data from 10am on the 12th till 4pm on the 16th.
This job analyses the audit file of PDS interrogations, and
sends the results to a Unix file or email address.
