Printouts
Listing
This contains the patient name, title, address and date of birth. Optionally, the patient's GP
code, GP name, practice code and PCO code are specified. This print also provides a
sequence number for each selected patient. A new page is started for each GP – unless the
user has requested patients to be selected for one or more practice codes (whereby a new
page is started for each different practice) or one or more PCO codes (whereby a new page
is started for each different PCO).
NOTE
The NHS field determines whether each patient's NHS number is included in
the listing.
The Code field determines whether the GP/practice/PCO code is printed at the top of each
page and whether each patient's GP code, GP name, practice code and PCO code are
included within the listing.
The Name field determines whether the GP/practice/PCO name is printed at the top of
each page.
The Phone field determines whether the GP/practice/PCO phone number is printed at the
top of each page.
Labels
These contain the patient name and address and, optionally, the NHS number and GP code.
NOTE
The NHS field determines whether each patient's NHS Number is included in
the labels.
The NHS field determines whether each patient's NHS number is included on the labels.
The GP No. field determines whether each patient's GP code is included on the labels.
On change of GP, labels will start printing from the first blank label available. There will
be no indication of change of GP except where a request for the GP code to be printed on
to the label has been made.
Path
When a download file is required then this must be scheduled with either a Listing and/or
Label run. The download file is created at the end of this job and before the print becomes
available for printing on the PQ screen. The path field must contain a valid Unix path and
filename.
Where local GP codes have been specified, or where the criteria do not specify
organisational codes, then the order of records in the download file will be by local GP
code and then by patient NHS number.
Where national practice codes have been specified, then the order of records will be by
national practice code and then by patient NHS number.
Where primary care organisation codes have been specified, then the order of records will
be by primary care organisation code and then by patient NHS number.
Records are written in a comma-separated format. The first record in the download file
contains the field names.
