Bulk Transfer Address Labels
Bulk Transfer details are set on the B1 screen. Address labels are also requested on
this screen. When B1 is updated, label details are passed to the RP application for
print preparation.
Address Label Job code – BTLB Bulk Transfer labels
Bulk Transfer Address Labels may be attached to letters sent to each patient
informing them of the change of doctor. If possible, labels and letters should be
produced at least 14 days before the transfer will take place. This will give patients
time to make alternative arrangements.
To reduce postage costs, letters intended for patients in the same household may be
sent in bulk to the head of household.
Printing
Labels are printed in alphabetical order, with the head of household indicated by an
asterisk. Three labels are printed across a page. If there is insufficient data to
complete a line of labels, the character XXX will be printed on the remaining labels.
PRINT PREPARATION is controlled by the RP screen.
PRINTING is controlled by the RR screen.
