each of the data items included in the performance indicator records. These
data items are user ID, application code, action code and total.

If you have requested a Service report:
9. Enter a valid accumulated year range in the Service period field.
10. Enter Y in the Start field to initiate processing.
The message 'JOB ENTERED ONTO THE JOB QUEUE FOR
PROCESSING' will be displayed.
NOTE
Do not attempt to produce Performance Indicator reports whilst
collecting summary statistics for the Service Indicator reports. The
Performance Indicator reports should be produced before requesting
summary file figures.
The reason for this is that the figures required to produce the
Performance Indicators are lost when the summary file figures are
produced. The summary file figures are an accumulation of the
performance indicator figures.
The recommended sequence of running AJ-PISI is as follows:
1. Run Performance Indicators report.
2. Run summary file figures (accumulating statistics – not producing
3. Run Service Indicator report.
Understanding the AJ-PISI Screen
Summary file figures
Enter Y if you wish to accumulate workload statistics held in the summary file for the
year indicated. Enter N or leave blank if you do not wish to accumulate the statistics.
AJ-PISI will not accumulate statistics and print a Service Indicator report or a
Performance Indicator report in the same run. If Y is entered in this field, you will not
be able to print either report.
NOTE
This field will not be displayed if there are no outstanding statistics to be
accumulated.
UNIX D'load path
NOTE
This field is only available when the Enter 'Y' if you want to accumulate
these figures now field is displayed.
The accumulated data will also be automatically downloaded to a UNIX file in the
directory specified in the UNIX d'load path field. The default directory displayed
here can be amended via the AJ-PISI entry on the SP-S screen. The name of the
downloaded file will be of the format PISIdownloadCIPxxxxYYYY.txt where CIP is
the system cipher, and xxxxYYYY is the accumulated years range, for example,
20072008. Fields within the download file are tilde (~) delimited.
