re-validated by this screen.
The following errors may be displayed:
Failure Reason
BOX missing
Duplicate entry
BOX too long
BOX invalid char.
BOX PREF. invalid
BOX LENGTH invalid
BOX NUMBER invalid
If all the records in the file are valid they will be listed on the screen along with the
number of MREs in each of the existing boxes. An additional prompt Press Y to
confirm the above changes of MRE Box Numbers will be displayed. Enter Y to
confirm the details and start the update process in the background.
On completion of the update process an email will be sent to the members of the ER
mail group as defined on the SP-M screen. This will also give the name of the
successful updates report file which will contain details of patients that have had their
MRE re-boxed.
Successful Updates Report
The successful updates report will be a tab delimited text file and consist of a header
record followed by a number of detail records. Each detail record will contain the
following information:
• Existing Box
• New Box
• NHS Number
• NHS Number Barcode (unencoded)
• NHS Number Barcode (encoded)
Meaning
The existing or new box number is blank.
A box number appears more than once as an
existing box number or a box number appears as
both an existing and a new box number.
The new box number is longer than 20
characters. (Only the first 20 characters will be
displayed.)
The new box number contains something other
than alphanumeric, space or hyphen characters.
The new box number does not start with a valid
prefix as defined on the SP-Z screen.
The new box number has the prefix of a local
box number, but is not 12 characters long.
The new box number is formatted as a local box
number and the cipher indicates that the label
has been printed on this NHAIS system, but the
sequence number indicates that this label has
not yet been printed.
