Registration Reference Manual
Identify Children Missed by FP69 of Parents
The majority of patients given an FP69 status as a result of returned correspondence
are adults simply because the majority of letters sent out to patients by NHAIS
agencies are directed at adults. As a result, there is a danger that children may remain
unidentified or registered on an NHAIS system after their parent or parents have been
deducted "R/U" following the return of undelivered correspondence.
This utility attempts to identify possible examples of children who have been
"orphaned" in this manner. It allows you to either:
• retrospectively look at patients who have already been deducted "R/U" to see if
any possible children of these patients have been left registered at that address;
or
• look at patients who will be deducted "R/U" in the coming four weeks to see if
any possible children of these patients will be left registered at that address.
Directions

Parents.
2. Enter either:
• D for R/U deducted patients; or
