Setting up the WindoWall Console Software for Edge Blending

To set up the WindoWall Pro software for a system in which edge blending will be used:

Install and open the WindoWall Console software (see
Software on page 11).
From the menu on the WindoWall Console main window, select
Wizards
Follow the instructions on the Setup wizard screens until you reach the Edge
Compensation screen (see
instructions on setting up a project using the wizard).
On the Edge Compensation screen, select the
and the
Edge Blending - compensate for overlapping projector displays
button. The screen changes as shown in figure 45.

In the two incremental spin boxes in the Display Border Size section, enter the number
of overlapping pixels as follows:
Horizontal pixels overlap — Type or select the number of pixels by which the

images' right and left borders will overlap each other.
Vertical pixels overlap — Type or select the number of pixels by which the top
•
and bottom borders of the image will overlap each other.
Click to continue, and complete the wizard, following the instructions on the
Next
screens.
Use the WindoWall Pro test patterns to help you set up your projectors for the
edge-blended videowall display.
