7. Installing the NE Controller-A1

Installation herein is to the iR5000i/6000i. For how to make various set-
tings and points to note and check (operations), see the Installation Proce-
dure that comes with the machine.

7.1 Installation

Step
1 Remove the upper cover of the controller. (See
the Installation Procedure.)
2 Connect the plug of the AC adapter to the con-
troller. (See the Installation Procedure.)
3 Remove the four screws [1], and detach the face
plate [2] of the rear upper cover.
4 Remove the rear upper cover, and free the 8-pin
cable [3] used to connect the controller from the
cable clamp; then, let the cable hang as shown.
Be sure not to route the cable in the area
indicated (by dashed line) of the DC control-
ler PCB to avoid malfunction of the ma-
chine.
