1) Select COPIER>DISPLAY>DPOT in service mode.
If the difference between VDM and VDT is less than 6V, go to step 2). If
the difference is 6V or greater, go to step 4).

5) Replace the potential sensor. Remedied?
No:
Primary corona assembly
6) Replace the primary corona assembly. Remedied?
YES: End
NO:
7) Replace the DC controller. Remedied?
YES: End

Correct the laser shutter mechanism.
Check the wiring. If the wiring is normal, replace the DC control-
ler PCB.
Is PLMT 1V?
Display COPIER>FUNCTION>MISC-P>PRE-EXP in service
mode.
Check if the preconditioning LED lights. If the LED does not
light, replace the LED.
Adjust or replace the potential sensor unit.
Replace the DC controller.
Upgrade the DC controller DIMM ROM to Ver. 4.04 or higher.
