2.4 Determining the Developing Bias

The developing bias (Vdc) is determined as follows based on the drum surface potential
(VL2):
Vdc = VL2 + Vdc
In terms of copying potential, Vdc = 110 V
In terms of printing potential, Vdc = 85 to 110 V
(The potential for printing varies in keeping with the reading of the environment sensor to
ensure the reproduction of appropriate line widths.)
