7.4 BOOT ROM

7.4.1 Making Connections

1) Connect the PC to the parallel connector on the right side of the controller with a paral-
lel cable.
• The PC must remain off.
• The 25-pin connector of the bi-Centronics cable must be connected to the PC side,
while its 36-pin connector must be connected to the host machine.
2) Turn on the PC, and start up the Service Support Tool.
3) Connect the power plug of the host machine to the power outlet; while holding down the
'2' and '8' keys on the keypad at the same time, turn on the main power switch.
