2x adapter cable for Piko or Buddy button

The power wheelchair may be equipped with a 2x adapter
cable. The respective connected Piko or Buddy button may
be used to control electrical seat functions. The functions to
be controlled are specified when the power wheelchair is
ordered.
The switches are equipped with a so-called toggle function.
This means that the selected function is activated as long as
the button is pressed.
Pressing the button again activates the selected function in
the opposite direction. For example, if the electric backrest
function is activated, the backrest moves back as long as
the button is pushed the first time the button is activated.
Activating this function again causes the backrest to move
forward as long as the button is pushed.

Other Display and Control Elements

7.7.1 Separate LCD monitor with infrared

CAUTION

tions. Ottobock includes an interface for alternate input
devices (environment and special controls) with the LCD
monitor). Ottobock does not assume any liability for combi-
nations involving third-party special controls.
The separate LCD monitor with infrared allows all types of
infrared devices to be controlled using the joystick.
Standard household and HiFi devices can be programmed
in the control unit using a learning mode. Switches or dim-
mer switches are available as accessories. The mouse em-
ulator is another available infrared module. It allows joystick
signals to be used in order to control a computer mouse.
The input devices of the special controls (e. g. sip-and-puff
control, chin control) can also be used for infrared functions.
