Moving the joystick right switches between the different seat
functions. The selected function can be extended or retract-
ed by moving the joystick forward or backward (also see
chapter 6.3.6).
The corresponding LED flashes if an error occurs. See
chapter 8.2.2 for the meaning of the fault notifications.
Joystick (item 6)
The joystick is used for driving. The further it is moved away
from the centre position, the faster the power wheelchair will
drive in this direction.
If the seat functions are accessed with the Mode button,
then the joystick is used to select and activate the seat func-
tions (see item 5 and chapter 6.3.6).

Special controls

The power wheelchair can be equipped with special con-
trols with various input modules, e.g. with:
„ Mini/Midi joystick control
„ Chin control
„ Buddy and Piko buttons (also see chapter 7.6).

Note that the Skippi plus cannot be equipped with a foot
control.
7.3

Electric seat options

WARNING
Risk of crushing or pinching in the power seat adjust-
ment and lifting areas. When the seat height, back angle,
or the seat tilt are adjusted, areas which can cause pinch-
ing or crushing injuries are found between the seat and
wheelchair frames. This must be explained to all attend-
ants.
In order to prevent injuries, ensure that body parts such as
hands and feet are always kept out of the danger zone,
that no interfering objects such as clothing or obstacles
are in the danger zone and that no unauthorised persons
are present .
