Cause
Printing-quality troubleshooting (PQT)
Check Point
Check the connection status between the LSU, the MCU and the
controller.
LSU ↔ Harness, LSU ↔ MCU (CN120) ↔ Harness on the Main
Board, Signal ↔ Controller (CN252)
Clean the exposure window.
Check the laser path between the exposure window and the
Photoconductor drum for any dirt or foreign material.
Replace the Photoconductor Unit.
Replace the K Toner Cartridge.
Replace the K Toner Cartridge.
Check the connection status between the Developer Motor and the
MCU.
Motor ↔ [Harness, Drive, Developer] ↔ DRV Board (CN211) ↔
[Harness, Main] ↔ MCU (CN104)
Replace the Developer Motor.
Replace the K Toner Cartridge.
Check the contact point on the HVPS where outputs developing bias
for any abnormality.
Replace the HVPS.
Set the lever to the lock position.
Check the primary transfer electrode roller for any dirt.
Check the connection status between the HVPS and the primary
transfer electrode roller.
HVPS ↔ [Harness, HV, Primary Transfer] ↔ Transfer Unit
Replace the Transfer Unit.
Replace the HVPS.
Replace the Engine controller or Main controller.
