Enabling Auto-onehop Tunnels to Next-hop Neighbors
Perform these tasks to enable automatic creation of one-hop tunnels over MPLS traffic-engineering enabled
interfaces to nexthop neighbors. A router that becomes a next hop neighbor will have a set of one-hop tunnels
created automatically.
Before You Begin
The ipv4 unnumbered mpls traffic-eng Loopback Number configuration must be applied at the global
configuration level.

Implementing MPLS Traffic Engineering
Purpose
Enters global configuration mode.
Enters MPLS-TE configuration mode.
Moves FRR LSP traffic over the backup tunnel, when
LSP is soft-preempted.
commit—Saves the configuration changes and remains
within the configuration session.
end—Prompts user to take one of these actions:
• Yes— Saves configuration changes and exits the
configuration session.
• No—Exits the configuration session without
committing the configuration changes.
• Cancel—Remains in the configuration session,
without committing the configuration changes.
