Enabling Graceful Restart

Perform this task to enable graceful restart for implementations using both node-id and interface-based hellos.
RSVP graceful restart provides a control plane mechanism to ensure high availability, which allows detection
and recovery from failure conditions while preserving nonstop forwarding services.

1. configure

3. signalling graceful-restart
4. signalling graceful-restart interface-based
5. Use the commit or end command.

Enters global configuration mode.
Enters the RSVP configuration mode.
Enables the graceful restart process on the node.
Enables interface-based graceful restart process on the node.
commit—Saves the configuration changes and remains within
the configuration session.
end—Prompts user to take one of these actions:
