Unstable Area Results

The Desired Color Cannot Be Detected
Add a specific color or enlarge the color range.
Extraction Is Automatically Performed for an Undesired Color When Teaching
Manually set the color for which to measure the area.

Drag around the color for which you want to measure
the area.
Areas with that color will be automatically detected.
Continuous measurements will be performed for the im-
ages that are displayed.
Only the extracted color will appear on the display.

Press [OK].

Press [TEACH].

Press [Back] to end teaching.
Note
Measuring More Than One Color
Set the colors using the color palette.
Press [ ] – [Color palette] on the Set Color Display to display the color palette. Up to four colors can be specified.
If the Color inv. Option is selected, the color outside the region will become the selected color.
If the Inv. Check Box is selected, the color outside the region will become the selected color. The [Inv.] Check Box
applies to all colors. Select the [Exclusion] Check Box to exclude the selected color from extraction.
The order of exclusion is from the largest color palette number.
Making the Extract Color Easier to Check
• The display for the extracted color can be switched by using [
(The following display patterns can be selected for the extracted color: [Measurement image], [All color image]
(default), [Selected color image], or [Binary image].)
• Press [ ] – [Background color] to change the display for colors other than the extraction color.
(The color can be chosen from [Black] (default), [White], [Red], [Green], or [Blue].)
