ever, you must to configure some of
the PPP settings before you can make
a connection to your Optimod
Although you did not
specifically
thing that states "PPP,"
the PPP protocol has nev-
ertheless been installed.
3. Configure the Direct Cable Connection adapter.
In this step, you will customize the PPP settings on Windows 7 so that it can talk
to your Optimod.
A) Go to the Windows 7 Network and
Sharing Center and click the change
adapter settings link. This is on the
left side of the window.
