Installing the Display Mask

To install the computer's display mask, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-28.
1. Set the display mask in place, carefully placing the mask over the latch hooks.
2. Secure the latches beginning with the four latches across the top of the mask.
3. Continue along the sides of the mask (three latches on each side), and the bottom (two in
the center, two on the larger support and one on the small support).
4. Do a quick check to be sure the mask is seated securely around the display.
5. Secure the cover with two M2.5x4 screws (T4500/T4600) or two M2.5x6 screws (T4500C/
T4600C) at the top corners.
6. Attach the two rubber cushions at each top corner to cover the screws.
7. Install the top cover, optional PCMCIA card, optional memory card and battery pack as
described in Sections 4.5 through 4.2.
