4. SETUP displays the following message:
Save Settings, perform self test and reboot? (Y/N)
Review your changes. If you need to make more alterations, press N and go back to Step 1
above.
5. If the new values are correct, press Y. The values are recorded into CMOS memory and the
system restarts.

SETUP Option Descriptions
The SETUP screen is divided into functionally-related groups. This section describes each group
and the options within it.
1. Memory
This group of options lets you configure the computer's memory.
Total
This field displays the total amount of memory installed and is automatically calculated by
the computer.
Base
This field displays the amount of memory installed and is automatically calculated by the
computer. You cannot change this value. If you set Hard RAM, this value changes automat-
ically.
Extended Memory
This field displays the amount of extended memory the computer has available. You cannot
change this value.
Hard RAM
This field displays the amount of extended memory assigned to Hard RAM. When you
press the Space bar or Bk Sp key, the size of memory allocated for Hard RAM increases or
decreases in 64 KB increments from 128 KB to 11520 KB (T4500/T4500C) or 128 KB to
16768 KB (T4600/T4600C). The default is 0 KB.
Shadow BIOS ROM
The SETUP program displays 128 KB of RAM, which is reserved for the Shadow BIOS
ROM. This field displays the amount of the extended memory used for the shadow BIOS
ROM. You cannot change this value.
