2. Display
This group of options helps you configure the computer's display.
Display Adapter
This field displays only "VGA compatible."
VGA compatible
Not Used
LCD Display Mode
Use this option to set the T4500/T4600 Family computer's display mode.
Monochrome
LCD Display Color (T4500C & T4600C only)
This option, which appears in SETUP and is available through the use of "hot keys," lets
you switch among 180K colors, 24K colors, and 512K colors on the T4500C or T4600C. It
does not appear on the T4500 or T4600. Refer to "Hot keys" under the OTHERS section
later in this chapter for more information on hot key operation.
The LCD display color options are:
180K colors
24K colors
512K colors
LCD Gray Scale Level (T4500 & T4600 only)
This option, which appears in SETUP and is available through the use of hot keys, lets you
switch between normal and reverse video on the T4500 and T4600. It does not appear on
the T4500C or T4600C. The options are:
Normal 64 Levels
Enable the internal video controller.
Disable the internal video controller.
Selects 80x25 text or 640x480 graphics modes. This option
Color
also affects a color monitor attached to the external display
port. (This is the default.)
Selects monochrome mode. This is also used when you con-
nect a VGA monochrome monitor to the external display
port. Some software is displayed better in monochrome
mode.
Displays color text with 180K colors. This is the default.
Displays color text with 24K colors.
Displays color text with 512K colors.
Displays black text on a white background with 64 shades of
