Removing the FL Inverter Cable, Display Cables & Display Sensor Switch
To remove the T4500/T4600 Family computer's FL inverter cable, display cables and display
sensor switch, follow the steps below and refer to Figures 4-48 through 4-50.
1. Turn off the power to the computer; disconnect the AC adapter, power cord and all external
cables connected to it.
2. Remove the battery pack, optional memory card, optional PCMCIA card, top cover, display
assembly, display mask, FL inverter, and LCD or TFT module as described in Sections 4.2,
4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.9, 4.13; and 4.14 through 4.16 (T4500C); or 4.17 and 4.18 (T4600C); or 4.20
and 4.21 (T4500/T4600).
3. To remove the gray FL inverter signal cable, remove two M2.5x4 screws (T4500/T4600)
or two M2.5x6 screws (T4500C/T4600C) securing the bracket holding the cable and lift out
the cable (Figure 4-48).
